Ecstatic Dance & Embodiment Practices with Serena Rose

We all know what dancing is, but what is ecstatic dancing? The way our workshop leader, Serena Rose, describes it is: non-stop, playful movement for healing. (Of course you can pause if needed, but the best way to experience ecstatic dance is to push those edges and keep it moving!)

You will be moving your body.

Trying new things.

Sweating it out.

And experiencing a cathartic release as a result.

WHILE having a really good time.

You might not realize it, but energy gets stored in your body and can create tension that may be impacting you on a physical, emotional, or spiritual level. Intentionally moving your body to shift this energy will help release that physical and emotional tension, reduce stress and anxiety, increase self-awareness and self-compassion, and create more space for you to receive love and happiness.

Not only will you get to dance, heal, and enjoy yourself- but you will also learn specific embodiment practices that you can take into your day-to-day life to continue to play with.
