Kakao & Kirtan Ceremony

Are you ready to open your heart to states of joy, connection, communion, healing and expansion? To connect in community through sound and voice? To experience the joy and love of music that connects us all?

Adam Kandel and Becca Steinbach invite you to Inner Nature on Sunday, December 10th gently offering ourselves the gift of self care. We revel in the slowing of time and the sense of fall giving way to winter. Winter is that time to rest, to nourish, to sit around the fire together in community. What a perfect time to join our hearts with a Kakao and Kirtan Ceremony Circle. 

Beginning with the medicine of sacred, ceremonial Cacao, we will connect into and open our hearts, receiving insight and creating relationship with the sacred spirit of this grounding plant medicine. Then, we will ground in love, joy and connection through song with a Kirtan circle together in community, offering our prayers through Voice.

Stay after ceremony and break bread with community as we share a vegan potluck meal. This season is so wonderful to deepen in connection with loved ones, and we all want to stay soaked in ceremony energy after it closes! So this edition of Kakao & Kirtan, stay afterwards :)

If you are staying for dinner, please bring a ***vegan*** dish to share. (Note that Inner Nature is a vegan establishment - please do not bring any animal food products onto the grounds.) 

What is Kirtan? Call and response style of devotional singing. You will experience a variety of devotional songs including Sanskrit mantras, medicine songs, and more. Call and response style requires no knowledge of lyrics. Many songs will be sung Kirtan style, others will be sung all together.

Community Tier Ticket: $28

Your support at this tier enables us to continue providing high-quality events and services. You actively contribute to Inner Nature's Soul Sanctuary's stability, ensuring that we can maintain and expand our offerings, creating a lasting impact in our community.

Benefactor Ticket: $55

The "Benefactor" tier is the highest level of support and contribution. By choosing this tier, you're not only receiving the full benefits of our events but also actively helping Inner Nature thrive and grow. Your generosity empowers us to pay our teachers well for their time and expertise as well as reach even more souls, creating a lasting legacy of positive change and spiritual growth within our community.

***NOTE: Sometimes as parents/caretakers, we need sacred time to ourselves. Other times, we crave sharing sacred space with our children and teaching them ways of Spirit. To not be separate from our children just to attend a ceremony/sacred event. At Inner Nature, we are so happy to offer some ceremonies and events that are child/family friendly. With this in mind, know that your child(ren) is your responsibility. We do not provide child care during events and we are not responsible for your children. Please make sure you keep an eye on your child - the indoors of Inner Nature's Soul Sanctuary is not "child-proof". Please also keep in mind that in ceremony we create a reverant, sacred container. We'd love to have your children participate in the reverance, as ceremony is a special energy that children soak up and love.
